I love to travel, take pictures, be adventurous, and always try new things. Most importantly, I wake up each day, feeling that life is my greatest gift. God gave me to live it with strength, courage, and passion.
But several years ago, that was not the case at all…
I was like many Egyptian girls. I felt lost and adrift.
Despite everything seeming terrific theoretically - a job as an engineer in a large company, a good salary, a nice house, a loving husband, and children - I had a persistent feeling that something was off.
Life felt like a never-ending list of tasks and responsibilities,ِ and I felt disconnected from my country, my home, and myself.
One day, I looked in the mirror and was shocked to see a woman who looked much older than me staring back.
It was a terrifying wake-up call.
